Meowmixed PoliciesAll kittens receive all of their first series of shots, are wormed, and because Colorado suffers from Giardia--are treated for it before they leave for their new homes. Therefore, this means they are required to stay with us until they are at least 9 - 12 weeks old depending on circumstances. Our kittens come from a Smoke Free and Disease Free Home Environment and get plenty of T.L.C. Our cats/kittens are not caged, they are limited to certain parts of the house but are free to roam otherwise. They have all had their share of the "under cover" experience as sometime there may be as many under the cover as there are toes under there. They are raised with dogs and children and do not understand the difference! Our cats & kittens are raised on Iams and Eukanuba dry cat/kitten food with daily vitamins and nutrical supplements and choice quality soft food and treats periodically. They are used to clay scoopable litters and it is advised NOT to used clumping brands as the babies tend to eat it--the clumpables cause death when ingested.Meowmixed GuaranteeHEALTH GUARANTEE: The cat/kitten is guaranteed in good health at the time of the sale, to the best of our knowledge. This cat/kitten comes from a Leukemia free and smoke free environment cattery. Your cat/kitten must have a veterinarian perform a well cat/kitten check within the first three days of purchase to activate your health guarantee and at your own expense. When your cat/kitten receives your vet’s health approval, the breeder shall be released of any and all liability of your cat/kitten. The only guarantee that will be provided with this contract is if your veterinarian has discovered a genetic defect with your cat/kitten and you have a vet-documented/proven copy of the evaluation. Then and only then will your cat/kitten be replaced with another cat/kitten at your expense and, depending upon availability? Absolutely No Cash Refunds. Our kittens come with their up to date immunizations, not including rabies, which is the option of the buyer. This health guarantee does NOT cover injuries after leaving this cattery and or accidents that happen to the kitten after arriving at their new home. We do require that you keep your Ocicat indoors…Terms MEOWMIXED OCICATSTerms of Sale & Contract Congratulations! You have just purchased a magnificent new breed known as an Ocicat. Because we are concerned about the health and welfare of your new kitten and, because we want you to be happy with your new addition, the following conditions apply: 1. Your cat/kitten has been litter registered with TICA, CFA, and or UFO. It is up to you as the buyer to register your cat/kitten as an individual. 2. If you purchase your cat/kitten as a pet or show alter, he/she must be neutered/spayed before seven months of age. Unaltered males become noisy and usually begin to mark their territory with pungent foul smelling urine. An unaltered female will make piercing cries on a three-week cycle and may also spray the walls just like the male does. Under this spay/neuter contract the purchaser is responsible for the financial responsibility of that procedure. If there is other surrounding circumstances the breeder will, depending on the problem, accept limited responsibility. The purchaser will have any "special vet service" performed at the breeders veterinarian (if local) for their set price. If you do not agree and choose to visit your own veterinarian, you will do so at your own expense. You will receive your application for registration when you have provided a copy of the neutered/spayed certificate from your veterinarian. You as the buyer must mail the registration along with the appropriate registration fee to the address noted on the registration papers. Breeding rights are more expensive. 3. The purchase of a cat/kitten can be either in person, by phone or via email. Below you will find a copy of the Sellers Contract that you will receive upon agreement of purchase. Upon agreement to purchase a cat/kitten from Meowmixed Ocicats Cattery, you are agreeing to the terms of this contract when you sign it. If out of state, correspondence will be done by e-mail or phone until an agreement has been made. If and when there is an agreement made, the seller will direct you as to how payment is made, details of shipping and items that will come with your new addition as well as a copy of the signed contract. Seller will at that time, complete the contract below and will forward the completed contract to you by fax, e-mail or via snail mail in which you will print out for your original signature.
